This winter and last winter,I have seen flocks of lapwings for the first time in Coan. I have seen them before but only around wet-lands on the coast. They are quite noisy, they have to be noisy for me to notice 🙂
Perhaps it is due to local farming methods becoming less intensive .

regarding flocks of lapwings they can appear there and there in migration, depends a lot of the availability of food.
